The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team reach places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Questers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect finding out which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
